NIKE SOHO: FORCE PARK
My park, my story: New Yorkers have pride for their city and neighborhoods; their park stories are closely tied to that identity. For many residents who grew up in apartments, these parks became their “backyard”. We turned the iconic NYC phonebooth typology into a vehicle for people to share their own stories about the parks they grew up in. Guest’s pick up the phone to begin the experience as it starts by captuing their photo. They’re then lead through a series of prompts to determine where they’re from, what their sport and personality are, and what mantra suits them best. The software then stitches together relevant NYC and sport imagery into a collage with their image for a digital takeaway to post to social media. Visitors also recieved a limied edition nike enamel pin for sharing their story.
