MARNI SHOPPABLE VIRTUAL WORLD
We created a web-based interactive journey through a stylized 3D world that showcases Marni’s collection on animated models. Since the models were all scanned from the runway show itself, this digital world served as a heightened experiential recreation of the Marni fashion show. The styling is similar but surreal; more vibrant, abstract, and psychedelic. The journey starts out on rails and ends in a freely navigated shoppable art installation, with navigation similar to a video game. Here consumers can walk around and shop the entire collection. When users approached each one of the models in the experience, a 2D window is triggered which delivers the shoppable look. Consumer can add this look to their favorite list, then go shop on the Marni site at the end. This invite-only experience was accessible on mobile or desktop, and from anywhere in the world.
