DAS RACE: CAR DESIGN
Imagine if drone racing and Mario Kart had a baby: That’s Das Race. The idea was concieved as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and merges the virtual world with real life action.
12 celebrity racers from across the US virtually controlled futuristic RC cars from the comfort of their own living rooms. Cars designed by yours truly.
I was involved with the aesthetics and coordination of the track as well, but creating an iconic + futuristic + functional vehicle was my main focus. The vehicle design blends together heritage racing style with a minimal geometric simplicity that results in a timeless and agressive language.
